Scientific Revolution: The Scientific Method

The scientific revolution gave new perspective to the ideas that the earth was the center of the universe and that the sun and all of the planets revolved around the earth. We learned that those ideas were not true. We learned this by testing out the theory proposed by Aristotle. Aristotle came up with a theory that heavy objects fell faster then lighter objects and for 1500 years people believed him, until Galileo proved him wrong. Galileo was an Italian physicist that played an important role in the scientific revolution.
